"I am responsible" is one of our core values at CERTEGO and an integral part of everything we do. Taking responsibility, for us, involves how we conduct our business, how we work together, and the promises we make to our customers.
As the Nordic expert in independent access and monitoring solutions, our 1,200 employees show strong commitment to supporting our customers in a responsible manner throughout a property's entire lifecycle. From consultation and initial installation to ongoing service, modernization as well as complete system upgrades.
Our Journey
2022 marked the first full year for CERTEGO Group as an independent entity after our separation from ASSA ABLOY. It was also the year we built a new structure and a solid foundation for further growth. In February, we established a new strategy for CERTEGO Group that consists of two crucial parts:
- A five-year business plan where the focus for the first year is to build a solid foundation and then concentrate on profitable growth, both through organic expansion and acquisitions.
- The CERTEGO Way: a toolbox comprising nine different tools that will guide the leadership of CERTEGO in our culture and how we conduct our business.
Our sustainability ambitions are high; we aim to be the most responsible company in our industry by 2026.
The Year 2022
The year 2022 can be summarized as a challenging one, not only for CERTEGO but for the entire planet. During the first quarter, we were still affected by Covid-19, and like many other companies, we faced high sickness absence and operational limitations. Beyond the pandemic, there have been global logistical challenges, and we've witnessed a new war in Europe. Despite all these challenges, our capable employees consistently delivered high quality in projects and service delivery. I'm proud that we could improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover under such circumstances.
CERTEGO is a people business, and our employees are truly our greatest asset. I'm confident that by building a strong culture and fostering high engagement among our employees, we will become the most attractive company in our industry.
The Future
Our sustainability focus areas include diversity and inclusion, transportation, health and safety, well-being, IT and information security, skill development, sustainable value chain, packaging, and waste. You can read more about this in our sustainability report for 2022.
The world is heading towards an economic downturn, and we can already see cutbacks in the construction industry. Simultaneously, global concerns are rising, and the need for companies and organizations to secure their properties and employees is growing. This is where CERTEGO's core competency lies, and even amidst a general decline, we are witnessing increased demand for our services. I look forward to a successful 2023.
