Goal 12 aims to achieve more with fewer resources through sustainable production, consumption, and waste management.

CERTEGO contributes to this through the following focus areas:

• Packaging and Waste: Implementing appropriate waste management for paper, plastic, metal, electronics, and residual waste is a good starting point and will be applied across all departments, alongside a greater emphasis on reducing packaging throughout the value chain.
  
  
• Skill Development: Raise awareness about how our society and individuals can work towards more responsible resource management, waste disposal, and reduced packaging.

Fight one of our time's greatest challenges, namely climate change and its consequences.

CERTEGO supports this goal through the following focus areas:

• Transportation: Our largest greenhouse gas emissions stem from our own vehicles. Reducing the use of fossil fuels in our fleet is therefore our most significant contribution to Goal 13.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals represent a collective global agenda for the year 2030, endorsed by all member states of the United Nations in 2015. These goals establish a shared framework for fostering peace and prosperity for people and the planet, both in the present and the future. Comprising 17 ambitious commitments and 169 targets, these goals aim to catalyze worldwide action across social, environmental, and economic development. Every goal is interconnected, influencing and shaping one another in intricate ways.
