In the spring of 2024, CERTEGO took a significant step forward with the acquisition of two leading security companies: K2 Security Services in Finland and Scanview in Denmark.
These additions, along with a strategic partnership with Germany's Dallmeier, strengthen CERTEGO's position as an innovative player in the security industry and pave the way for a more comprehensive and proactive service portfolio.
A Complete Security Solution
CERTEGO has long been known for its comprehensive security solutions. With the new acquisitions, the company can now offer complete management of technical security solutions supported by internal experts. This means that customers can maximize the value of their system investments through seamless collaboration. “Whether it’s building security systems or personal alarms, we handle everything from needs assessment and design to installation, service, and follow-up. At the same time, the customer retains full control,” says Jonas Granath, CEO of CERTEGO Group.
K2 Security: Remote Monitoring and Proactive Security
K2 Security Services brings unique expertise in remote monitoring and property management. Through advanced alarm center operations, alarms can be analyzed and managed remotely, minimizing the need for on-site visits and saving both time and money for customers. “Our goal is to eliminate unnecessary call-outs and thereby reduce costs for our customers. At best, one can save hundreds or even thousands of euros per month,” says Jani Saarvo, Service Director at K2 and Sales Director in Finland.
This marks a shift from a traditionally reactive monitoring service, where incidents are investigated after the fact, to a more active and preventive monitoring model. “Detecting potential issues, such as a temperature rise before smoke is visible, can prevent damage and major costs. It is always more cost-effective to prevent than to react,” adds Saarvo.

At the same time, Scanview offers extensive expertise in video surveillance and advanced CCTV solutions. Their concepts for parking and traffic complement CERTEGO’s existing services and contribute to the development of new, dynamic security solutions.
