CERTEGO marks World Day for Safety and Health at work

4/28/23 9:41 AM

Today we mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, also known as International Work Environment Day. The day promotes the prevention of work related accidents and diseases globally, and is organized by the UN's International Labor Organization (ILO).

A safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental principle in CERTEGO. The health and safety of our employees is our top priority, and we have a zero accident vision.

This day is about both physical and psychological health and safety. A healthy psychosocial environment promotes well-being, loyalty, and productivity. How we experience the job situation, the content of the work and the interpersonal interaction are important factors here.

Joakim Halfwordson,
CCO & Sustainability Manager, CERTEGO Group

  • A job with purpose – together we create a safer society and make everyday life easier.
  • Interesting tasks – we adapt to an ever-changing society and industry.
  • Opportunity for development  - through our own CERTEGO Academy

  • Workplace injuries (LTIFR) <5.0
  • Attrition (Voluntary turnover) <15%
  • Sickness absence <4%

World Day of Safety and Health in the Workplace

Today we encourage all our employees (and everyone else) to spend this day reminding each other of the importance of our health.

Take care of yourself and care for those around you. Contact your manager if there is something weighing your mind. If you experience any kind of health or safety breach in connection with projects in which CERTEGO is involved, we encourage you to bring it to our conscience through our whistleblowing service.

Together we can shape a secure and more sustainable future!
