Schools invest in safety and flexibility

The right balance between security and openness

The schools required security solutions that ensure safety without compromising accessibility. As part of the construction project, CERTEGO Haugesund in Norway is delivering advanced alarm and access control systems that give the schools control over who can access the premises.

These solutions not only create a safer everyday environment, but also enable the schools to be used more flexibly outside of teaching hours. At Haraldsvang School, the project also includes an automatic door and control system, allowing the facilities to be secured quickly and efficiently when needed – an additional step to protect both students and staff.

– Our task is to make it easy for
schools to keep their premises safe and accessible. As a subcontractor, we work closely with both the construction company and the client to ensure the security solutions meet both technical and practical requirements, says Kjetil Saltveit, Department Manager at CERTEGO Haugesund.

A safe school environment for the future

The construction projects are still ongoing, and once the schools are completed, they will be equipped with modern and sustainable security solutions tailored for future learning environments.

By investing in future-proof security solutions, these schools are setting an example for others – and creating a safer everyday life for future generations.
