In our purchasing department, Louise Erixon works, who plays a key role in CERTEGO's sustainability journey towards 2025. To reduce our carbon emissions, we aim to decrease the number of fossil-fueled cars our employees drive. Louise has soon worked with us for a year, and during that time, a major focus has been on the vehicle fleet:
“Organizing and improving the management of the cars has been my main assignment so far. I also work with our indirect purchasing categories, which means that I analyze purchasing needs, optimize our costs, and manage and develop both new and existing supplier relationships,” says Louise.
To achieve our sustainability goals, the purchasing department at CERTEGO plays a central role in the work. This means that we set higher demands on our suppliers. Louise continues:
“Where possible, I support the organization in disposing of its older fossil-fueled vehicle fleet to transition and achieve our environmental goals. To reduce our emissions, our suppliers must follow environmental and sustainability criteria as part of their commitments to us. In this way, we influence the entire supply chain to follow environmental practices.”
Thanks to employees like Louise, CERTEGO can continue working towards a more climate-smart future. We aim to support the UN's sustainability goals, and by 2025, our target for the organization is to have a vehicle fleet that is fifty percent electric.
